Here is an essential oil recipe rips for this time of year – use it when you feel the onset of a cold or use it for a cough.

  • Eucalyptus – 8 drops
  • Hyssop – 4 drops
  • Lemon – 6 drops
  • Tea Tree – 4 drops
  • Place in a bowl of steaming water so essential oils can be released in the air – or place in a warm bath.

Note – if you have a persistent cough or think your cough is serious, see a doctor.

The Aromatherapy for Health blog just posted an essential oil blend to help calm children at bedtime.  This aromatherapy recipe is meant for diffusion, which is a method of releasing scents into the air.

Since it is a recipe for children, I want to point out that it is a good idea to use caution and make sure the kids don’t intake any of the oils – especially since many children are quite allergic to chamomile.

Here we aim to bring you the latest news in the world of aromatherapy and holistic health to help you enhance your health and well-being through the benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils.
